Faculty Resources

The Office of Distance & Digital Learning (DDL) recognizes the importance of providing DSU faculty with a wide array of services, professional development opportunities and resources for teaching online or in other digital learning formats.

What is Distance & Digital Learning (DDL)?

DDL serves as the central agent for online learning at DSU, providing leadership in distance learning policies, strategies and practices.

DDL supports and expands student access to education through the advanced application of instructional technology, data analysis, policy and strategic planning for distributed learning programs and courses for the university.

The department was officially established in January 2017. Work is actively underway, with advisement from the Distance & Digital Learning Committee, in establishing policy, design and delivery standards, and providing resources and training on effective online teaching practices and expectations.
